President

Doug has owned Hydraulic Parts Source and acted as President for the past 25 years. He is the driving force behind the HPS mission of speed and customer satisfaction. He keeps a constant focus on improving the business to be more efficient and finding the best staff available to serve customer needs. He motivates the team to maintain a high level of integrity in all that they do, to always do right by customers, and to be the best company in our market.

As a lifelong resident of Michigan, Doug attended Lawrence Technological University before starting a family and opening the business. He’s been happily married for 25 years and has 5 children. He enjoys golfing and spending time with family.

Cory Gilbert

CEO

With a personal goal of taking care of the customer at all costs, CEO Cory Gilbert has been a driving force behind the high level of customer satisfaction at Hydraulic Parts Source since 2009. Cory has a “whatever it takes” attitude and helps maintain a customer service team that is accountable, honest, efficient, and hard-working. One of the first things you’ll learn about Cory in his professional life is his belief that “customer relationships are everything.”

Cory is a graduate of Alma College with a degree in Finance and Marketing. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is a sports fan who also enjoys golfing in his free time.

John Garbarino

Sales & Marketing Manager

John has over 35 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial with over 10 of those years spent working directly in fluid power. He knows the ins and outs of the hydraulics industry well, and from different perspectives, making him uniquely qualified to bring value to HPS’ customers.

John and his wife of 31 years, Gail, are proud of their two grown children who are successful in their own fields. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, cooking, and playing pickleball.

Brian Hamlin

Account Representative

A Native Michigander, Brian is a graduate of Michigan State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Advertising. He has been in industrial sales for 10 years, with a focus on process control equipment, instrumentation and filtration. He’s dedicated to developing strong relationships built on trust and is driven to take care of every customer need.

Brian grew up in Mason, Michigan. He’s remained a resident in the Greater Lansing area, including his time in East Lansing as a proud Spartan, and now resides back in his hometown. Besides being a big Spartans fan, Brian enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and is engaged to be married in 2024.

Kelly Young

Customer Service Manager

Kelly has over 20 years’ experience in customer service and inside sales with most of those years being in a management role. Her unwavering dedication to putting her customer first and going above & beyond their expectations are points of pride for Kelly. She values communication, satisfaction, and most importantly, the relationships she develops with her customers.

Kelly comes from a large family and is the youngest of 5 children. She is a proud mom of two sons, and equally proud of her “2 grand puppies”. In her free time, Kelly enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering & spending time with her family.

Bryan Laubach

Customer Service

Bryan has been in the hydraulics industry for over 25 years, with over 10 with HPS. He attended Vickers Hydraulic Training and brings an immense knowledge of the field to our sales and service team. Customers often compliment Bryan as trustworthy, knowledgeable, extremely detailed, and fast at getting answers to customers – especially at critical times. We’re proud to be able to count on Bryan to handle any situation.

Prior to his work with Hydraulic Parts Source, Bryan was with Motion Industries for almost 20 years. He hails from Macomb Township, Michigan. He loves music, cars, and Star Wars collectibles.

Robert Cacciapalle

Customer Service Lead & Repairs Coordinator

Robert has been a part of the Hydraulic Parts Source team since 2011. Robert is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, and resides in Clinton Township with his wife and family. He enjoys working on cars, playing hockey, and spending time with friends & family.

Robert is skilled in different areas of expertise at HPS; he has been cross-trained in multiple departments which allows him to be on-demand help wherever the team needs it. He is part of the reason HPS has the ability to provide customers with quick responses & excellent service.

Tamika Garner

Customer Service

With over 20 years of customer service expertise, Tamika knows the importance of having positive interactions with customers, creating a lasting impression by handling each of their needs with friendliness and care. Tamika is committed to the satisfaction of her customers and is willing to go above and beyond to make this happen.

Tamika was born and raised in Detroit and has spent the last 20 years in Clinton Township, Michigan. She is extremely family oriented and spends lots of time with her sister, niece, nephew, and especially her mother, who is one of her neighbors. Tamika enjoys reading, traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and is an avid sports fan.

Alec’s fresh perspective and strong dedication to customer satisfaction enable him to consistently exceed expectations and provide rapid responses to clients. He is a valuable asset to the team and always goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible service is provided.

Kenna Cronin

Customer Service

Kenna is excellent with people, and puts a focus on helping customers in any way possible, making processes smooth within her teams, and bringing her "get it done" attitude to HPS and our customers each day. Kenna is a Michigan native. She grew up in Macomb County and earned her BS in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit. She was married to her husband just last year, and they live with their two large breed dogs, Skye and Elsie. She's very close to her family and spends a lot of time with her two siblings.
